How's Willard

Thank you for thinking of us and asking how things are going.  Actually this is Willard's wife replying.  My husband was taken off Sutent after his 6th cycle in June due to an increase in the cancer.  Now he about to begin treatments of the new drug Torisel.  His first one will be on August 13th.  We are hoping this will have good results.  He has not had any drug now for the past 8 wks and he is of course very anxious to begin this new treatment.  He is feeling really well though, especially since he has been off the Sutent and it's side effects.

Thank you for responding.  My brother will be glad to hear about Willard.  I hope all goes well with his new treatments.  The doctor kept my brother off the Sutent an extra week because of his hand/foot syndrome.  He will then start his 6th cycle.  He will have a scan at the end of the 6th cycle.  Please keep us posted on how Willard continues with his treatments.

Hi Dee,

  Sorry, its been a while since I last wrote.  John is doing great on torisel. He has finished his 4th dose.  All seems to be good.  MRI this week and then they may start to take him down off demoral.  He's just tired but doing a lot anyway.  How is willard doing on torisel??   I've thought of you guys often.  You can write me at
