I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in March and underwent six courses of R-CHOP. After the 3rd, my PET scan was clear and after the 6th (5 weeks ago) the CT scan showed no cancer either. The doctor did a Bone Marrow test a week ago because I'd had lymphoma in my marrow. I found out today that while there is much less cancer in my marrow than at the beginning, it is still "residually" there. The oncologist has had me begin 2 more R-CHOP treatments.
I am frightened that this may mean the cancer won't be gone after the 8th treatment.
Has anyone else had this experience and can give me words of wisdom?
