Hi

My name is Joanne.  My 12 year old grandaughter has ALL  Leukemia

and even though her she gets chemo every week her counts will go high and back to almost 0.  They say that everytime they are at 0 it means the chemo is cleansing out the old blood cells and reproducing healthy new ones.  She has been back in the hospital 3 different times. She has only hd it since Aug 22  and has been in the hospital most of the time.  She had a real good 1 1/2 weeks at home. This last time which she  is still there on Halloween, she had a fever and they think it is a virus.  But while she was there her count dropped way down and they said this will continue to go up and down through out the chemo.  I know it is very hard to handle and you just want to hold and love them so they don't have to go through much.  Just trust in God and He will see both of you through this.  My grandaugter's name is Madeline, so you don't mind just pray for her and I will for both of you.  I hope that helps a little.  Has your husband had alot of headaches, she seems to get real severe headaches, sometimes I wonder if it isn't the pain meds.  Anyway hang in there  and I wish you the best of luck .
