My mom was diagnosed today with rectal cancer. We do not know any info or specifics yet except that the tumor appears from the colonoscopy to be "pretty small" and "contained". She has to go for further tests. My mother does not have a computer and she is not computer literate. Can anyone recommend a recently published book that can give her information and knowledge? Also, we live in the Long Island, New York area - can anyone recommend any doctors? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
