Hi, I'm Stacey. I'm having a biopsy on Friday, suspected lymphoma. I am a 30 year old mother of 3. My dad had lymphoma 15 years ago. He is now 56. He is having a biopsy on a lymph node on Thursday. We are both in need of prayers from anyone willing. I'm pretty scared for both of us.
Hi Stacey,
How did the biopsy results come out for you and your father? You know God loves your family and he will take care of you. Your family can work through what ever comes your way with the help of God. Just remember God will carry you through all of this!
I don't blame you for being scared. My husband, John of 25 years this September was diagnosed with Grade 4 Lymphomic Brain Tumor on July 15. The day after our youngest son's graduation party. Needless to say we were and are in shock, but, we know after his year of treatment he will be fine. It has brought our family closer and we all know that something positive will result from his illness.
The medical field has grown so much in it's development of medicines and new treatments.
The one thing I have noticed is it's alright to lean on your friends and family for support - just to vent your frustation and your feelings. People want to help you so don't hesitate to rely on your friends and family. They will be there for you. God Bless you and your father, you are in my prayers. Love, Sheila
