Hi, I'm Stacey.  I'm having a biopsy on Friday, suspected lymphoma.  I am a 30 year old mother of 3.  My dad had lymphoma 15 years ago.  He is now 56.  He is having a biopsy on a lymph node on Thursday.  We are both in need of prayers from anyone willing.  I'm pretty scared for both of us.

How frightening for you, Stacey.  I will include you and your family in my prayers.  Please keep us posted on the results of the biopsy.

Hi Stacey,

I feel sooo bad for you!  I know how scarey it is I was just diagnosed with a different cancer July 3rd and had CT this past Friday to see if it was anywhere else and had to wait until today to get the results.  I thank the Lord and everyone (many, many) who prayed for me for the results of no other cancer.  I would be so happy to pray for you and your father.  I will also put you on my church prayer chain and on a prayer request at church this coming Sunday if needed.  What is your fathers first name?

Psalms:56:3  When I am afraid I will trust in you.  In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid

Psalms 56:11  In God I trust; I will not be afraid.  What can man do to me?

No matter what you have to go through trust and praise God because he can get you through any of this.

God bless you!

Your sister in God, Terry.

Hi Stacey,

How did the biopsy results come out for you and your father?  You know God loves your family and he will take care of you.  Your family can work through what ever comes your way with the help of God.  Just remember God will carry you through all of this!

I don't blame you for being scared.  My husband, John of 25 years this September was diagnosed with Grade 4 Lymphomic Brain Tumor on July 15.  The day after our youngest son's graduation party.  Needless to say we were and are in shock, but, we know after his year of treatment he will be fine.  It has brought our family closer and we all know that something positive will result from his illness.

The medical field has grown so much in it's development of medicines and new treatments.

The one thing I have noticed is it's alright to lean on your friends and family for support - just to vent your frustation and your feelings.  People want to help you so don't hesitate to rely on your friends and family.  They will be there for you.  God Bless you and your father, you are in my prayers.  Love, Sheila

Stacey,

Both you and your Dad will be in my prayers.  Please let us know how your biopsy comes out.   Make sure you both get 2nd opinions, as that is very imnportant, I'm sure you know.

It's a bump in the road of life but do ev everything the Dr;s tell you, after you agree with the treatment, ask TONS of questions no matter how insignificant you feel they are.  Remember it's your body, and you make the decisions.  I'm sure you are in very good hands!

The best medicine is a positive attitude, only being around those that have positive attitudes and energy and not listening to anyone that seems to be negative.  I learned that from my daughter that was just given a clean bill of health after having gone through lymphoma treatment for the past 8 months.   God Bless to you and your family!
