GRAVIOLA Canine Dosage??

I'm going to be giving Trixie - my 16 yr old jack russell terrier GRAVIOLA in her food to treat her TCC but I have no idea how much to give her each day?

Can anyone help? She weighs 8 kg exactly. She's also [as of Sunday] on PIROXICAM [2.5mg a day] with ANTEPSIN [Sucralfate] given one hour before the piroxicam. And has just started a 7 day course of MARBOCYL

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

How much should I give an animal? All animals respond differently but here is a general rule of thumb: (Remember, these are not drugs but rather are whole foods. There should not be a problem if you accidentally give your pet too much.)

Under 5 lbs: 1/2 capsule or 4 or 5 drops
5 to 10 lbs: 1 capsule or 15 drops
30 to 50 lbs: 1-2 capsules or 25-30 drops
75 to 100 lbs: 2 capsules, 1/2 tsp or 2 droppers
Over 100 lbs: 1-2 capsules, 1/2 tsp or 2 droppers for every 100 lbs.

Hi Susie q,

Thanks for your reply, strangely enough I found the very same page that you pasted that from only yesterday! Trixie's graviola arrived in the post today and I've started her on a low dose of 5 drops a day, I'm aiming to increase the dose by 5 drops every other day to build her up to the 20 drops a day dose

I've also found out about another herbal treatment and will add the URL here, I'll also start a new thread with the details too. We all need every bit of help we can get to fight the big fight for and WITH our pets don't we?!
