"free at last. free at last. thank God Almighty free at last" my beloved husband, Jim, just left us a few hours ago to go be with the Lord. the cancer moved fast once it returned. we had just had a clear cat scan in may and he became sick the first part of july. jim wanted to die at home so we have had him under the care of hospice for this past week. i was with him in his final moments. his mom sang the hymn to him she had picked for his funeral.."sweet hour of prayer". i had prayed for my husband for 29 years and my greatest fear was that he would die without the Lord. but God was gracious and rewarded my labor of love. my husband at last is Safe in the Savior's Arms. God bless each one of you as you minister to your loved ones in their final days. sincerely jimandkathy
