That's not a very practical way of looking at it.
I won't try and reason hamburgers, chilly fries, and hot dogs are all good for me just because restaurants sell them. You have to look at the greater picture.

In my opinion there are natural cures to cancer that work better than modern therapies. Pharmaceutical companies may or may not know this. But even if they do know natural cures can work for people , I think they justify selling their own product(chemo drugs etc) based on the fact that it sometimes does work for patients.
