Can Anyone Recommend A Swallowing/Eating Disorder Specialist In Li/Metro New York Area?

Hi,

My Mom has been on a peg tube since Mid January unable to eat and keep solid foods down possible do to the cancer or Chemotherapy or both. I need someone that is a top notch profeesional that has dealt with eating and swallowing disorders. My Mom has been battling Ovarian Cancer for 18 months now, doing fairly well but has been getting aspiration Pnemonia ( 5 times in last 2 months). I would greatly appreciate anyones' help!  I would need a specialist out on Long Island or in New York City

There is a speech language pathologist by the name of Cathy Lazarus who practices in New York, New York. I am also a speech path and she had spoke at a conference I went to. Her office number is 212-263-6046. You can google her name and her website will pop up. She is at the NYU medical center. Hope this helps!
