GTX Chemotherapy

I posted a message regarding my wife's chemotherapy with Gtx soon after she began treatment. She was disgnosed on 7/21/06 with stage 4B disease. Since then she ha beeb on GTX therapy. On 7/21/07 we clebrated her first anniversary. During the year of treatment she has done very well. Her performance status is excellent and she has not had ant significant toxic side effects to the therapy. At the current time her CA-19 levels have begun trending upward, and this can be an ominous sign, nevertheless we have been very satisfied with the results of the GTX protocol, and we would encourage any pt. with nonresectable disease to investigate this option before starting any other treatment.
