Lung Cancer Treatment

Hello - I'm looking for information on how to reduce the side effects of chemo/radiation -- my husband has such severe fatigue with these along with shortness of breath. Could the cancer it self be making him so tired?

Hi, my mother just finished her radiation and chemo therapy, she had it for 7 weeks. She is in bed most of the time, she is just so tired, and say's it feels better to lay down. I don't have any answers for you, but hope that you and your husband can get some help. They give my mother shots to boost her red blood count, but it doesn't make any difference. She is also losing weight, over 30lbs now, and 20 of that was before she started treatment. She has no appetite and is still nausea's all the time. If I find any answers, I will reply back to you. She is on her second round of Chemo and has received one round of Radiation. She has small cell lung cancer. My sister and I drive to Waco and take her to her treatments and do everything else needed but her ex-husband who is her caregiver when we can't be there said she will not even get out of bed.

Any suggestions?
