When was the Clinical trials for Gemzar in treating Ovarian Cancer

first run.What is the protocol for the use of Gemzar in treating

Ovarian Cancer?

I was on Gemzar for  approx. 9 months. I do not know when the clinical trials were done. I started with Gemzar with Carboplatin.  Then I developed an allergy to the Carbo and did Gemzar alone. Was once a week, but then I started with fevers and low platelets so I went on a regimen of 1x every other week. Why are you asking? Do your docs want you to start Gemzar?

Is the Gemzar doing any good. What side effects are you having

from this drug. Any reply will be helpful.

Could you please bring me up to date on how the Gemzar is now working and if you are getting good results from the treatments. Hope everthing is going good for you and you are showing improvements. Praying for you and all who are in this sad time in their lives.
