Two years ago I had a Lumpectomy followed by radiation. During radiation I was given the drug Ritalin do to extreme fatigue. I continue to be exhausted most of the time. No one can tell me if this is related to the radiation on not. Does anyone have any experience with this problem. Thank you

My partner was extremely fatigued during radiation treatment.  The more treatments, the more fatigued she became, sometimes sleeping 22 hours a day.  Personally I think radiation is just harsh...and the body knows it needs to rest to recover.  I don't understand the use of stimulant drugs for this condition.  Good luck and god bless.

What many doctors do not tell you about radiation is that it kill healthy cells as well as cancer cells. Therefore your body has to work harder to fight because the healthy cells that are usually there to fight have been killed off. It results in fatigue because your body is working extra hard. A lot of people experience fatigue with radiation treatment. You need something to help boost your immune system. I suggest  a whole fruit mangosteen product. It is one the most powerful when it comes to helping fight and prevent cancer as well as giving energy. If you want more information feel free to contact me.
