Days Left To Live.

My darling wife has battled her cancer over the last three and a half years and has now been given only a few days to live; all treatments have failed. Our daughter gave birth 9 days ago to our first grandchild. She lives the other side of the world and has travelled the 11,000miles with the newborn baby boy, to be at her mother's side at this sad time. We sat my wife up in bed and placed the baby beside her. She being too weak to hold the little fellow. We all had a good cry, especially when my wife in considerable discomfort from all her symptoms declared it to be the best day of her life. In the midst of such pain and grief she has been able to find joy.

Bless your heart.  I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through.  You are truly experiencing the cycle of life - I hope you find as much comfort in your precious new grandchild as your wife did.  

WOW, what a story of life, I am so happy your wife got to see your grandchild, that must have brought such internal joy to hear heart that you cant even imagine, in your sadness and sad times, just hold onto the memories of happiness, and knowing that she got to see a little grandchild, that would not have existed, if it wasnt for her existance, yes,...the circle of life. Keep positive!

Isn't that great that she was able to see your daughter and new grandchild.  Hold on to that precious time that she was so happy. I only wish you strength and peace during this difficult time. I just lost my husband to Renal Cell.
