Now hospice said that her liver is shutting down. It has been a hellacious 3 years!! I wish my Mom peace and a place in heaven where there is no more pain and drugs. Does anyone have an idea how long it could take for her liver to shut down? We noticed 7 days ago that she was jaundiced and now she is even more jaundiced, hospice said from Wednesday to Friday she could see the changes, loss of more weight and jaundiced around her wrists. The hospice nurses' don't say anything about a time frame, that's why I need your input. please help me!!

I just lost my Mom to PC on Aug. 10, I also had the same questions you do and this web site helped me . The more you know to expect, the less frightened you will be as things start to happen.
I pray for peace for you and your family.
