My father had his CT scan today, and the results came back that there is no spreading, and the tumor has NOT grown at all. He was on docetaxel for 6 weeks, once a week, The dr is now talking about radiation to shrink the tumor, along with continuing the docetaxel. We are very grateful that the cancer has not spread to any organs, and has stayed the same.

Please give me some messages of hope.

Thank you all for your support, always.

That sound wonderful. Please make sure that he drinks a gallon of water a day. This will help to flush those dead cells out of his body. This will also decrease the chances of spreading because the cells leave his body and are not just sitting around in his body.

That's excellent news!  I knew someone who shrunk their tumor with radiation until the cancer eventually went into remission.  10 yrs now without a reoccurrence.  Best of luck :)
