I was diagnosed with rectal melanoma last year while I was pregnant. No it was not hemroids like many doctors insisted. Happy that I had a great family doctor that referred me. After 2 local excisions, a healthy baby, and 25 rounds of radiation, I am coming up to my first year aniversary in remission. My advise to anyone out there with this, see more than one specialist for advice on treatment options. I know that there isn't much out there and that the outcome is not great but try to be as informed as possible. Best of luck and look forward to everyday.
