Subject: Stage 4b?
Date: 02/10/2005
My brother in law has been diagnosed as having lymphoma 4B. What exactly does 4B mean?
He has already had some chemo, no response, or very little. I snow scheduled for stem cell transplant.

Our main concern is finding out what 4B means, we pretty much understand the rest.
Thank You for your response.
Subject: Stage IV

I have stage IV endometrial stromal sarcoma for 12 years. It means the cancer has metastasized to an organ like the lungs, liver, bladder, etc.
Today, people live longer and cancer is no longer a death sentence like it was years ago.
