Subject: Hiccups

This is an answer to hiccups that maybe something else won't help.. My husband had them for a week solid. We tried home remedies, Thorazine,  bacalefon (sp) diazapam, lorazipam, and at least 2 or 3 other drugs. Nothing would work.  A different Dr stepped in and asked us to try Lyrica pronounced  (Leerica like a leer jet)  and it has worked.. Praise the Lord.. he has not had them since. It is an anticonvulsive drug used for convulsions  or seizures.It worked for us... maybe it will work for you.. I pray that you never have them. They were very painful for my husband.. Ms C..
