My wife has Pancreatic cancer. She is doing extremely well. Just diagnosed in late March. We just visited CTCA in Zion, Illinois this past week. We found it to be a very aggressive and caring facility. All the doctors worked together to come up with a plan of action. My wife will be starting treatments there next week. Any comments or past experiences with CTCA would be appreciated.

My dad was just diagnosed about a month ago also with pancreatic cancer which also transfered to his liver. He went for his first treatment of chemo (5 days total) Oct. 26-30. He is very fatigued and not eating much. We are hoping that his appetite will increase and that will enable him to get some of his strength back. How is your wife doing and how is CTCA working out for you? What type of treatments is she getting? Would appreciate a reply. thank you.

We are pleased with CTCA. We've been going there for about 2 1/2 months. First treatments she had were in out hometown. She had 28 treatments of radiation along with 5FU once a week. The cancer didn't grow, but didn't shrink either. Then she had 3 treatment of Gemzar over 6 weeks but it didn't work and the mass grew about 10%. Then is when we decided to try CTCA. She has had 3 treatments of Taxatere once every 3 weeks. CTCA had her also add xeloda along with the taxatere, but that treatment made her terribly sick. Nausea, Vomiting and diarrhea. She discontinued the Xeloda and is now on just Taxatere. Her mass has not grown in 3 months. It also has not spread anywhere and is still isolated in the body of the pancreas. She has been very tired and has a hard time keeping food down. She is now on her 7th month with this disease. We just take it one day at a time. We just stay positive and keep a good outlook. God can heal anyone. Hope this helps. If any more questions just write back.

God Bless
Tigers

We have heard really great things about CTCA and are going their next week for my mom who has lung cancer. I wanted to reply and let you know of my cousin and another local woman have beat stage 4 pancreatic cancer with mets to liver!!! My cousin was given 18 months with treatment and the other 12. They both did what the oncologist ordered, but they also took the Advanced Ambrotose products from Mannatech. The ongologist, who is very pesimistic, has offered to try 10 more patients on the regimen. It's worth a try. The ambrotose doesn't cure, but it helps the body function properly and heal. We are trying it for my mom as well. The local woman has been in remission for about 2 1/2 years.

Also important to note that they changed their diets, limiting grains, sugar and eating lots of organic fruits and vegetables. They also added a few other supplements as well. Enzymes are important as well!

God Bless You and your families!!
