stage 4 metasticized to bones

My Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that metasticized to her bones.  She has been through radiation for pain and now Gemzar.  We have been told that it is very rare for it to spread to bones, 7%.  Is there anyone out there that has info?  Have not been able to locate info based on it spreading to bones.   Any info would be appreciated.
