On To Br. Ca. Treatments For Mets

I am about to start chemo again after 6 years in remission..br. ca. mets to lungs and chest lymph system..

They want to put me on Avastin and Taxatere...Can anyone who has been on this medicine give me a clue as to how the side effects will be?

 I had A/C the first time around, this cancer dr. said the Avastin and Taxatere isnt as harsh..he is hoping for another 6 year remission but only time will tell that for sure..so if anyone else has had this medicine..please let me know how it went for you?

i have been on avastin with various other drugs over the past year an d have tolerated it all very well  i have been able to work even do some overtime    the treatment of taxotere and avastin should give you little trouble since you have already had adriamycin  this is a piece of cake   good luck  keep the faith
