Metastatic Lung Cancer

Hello everyone,

We live in South Florida where my husband is being treated for metastatic lung cancer at South Miami Hospital. What a battle this is. As soon as one tumor pops up and the doctors squash it, another pops up. Doctor's say "we can fight the battles, but we can't win the war." We are thinking about going to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Does anyone have experience with or know someone that has been treated there? They focus on the "whole person" and their technique for treatment is supposed to be more than just conventional. Before we take him out of Miami we would like to hear suggestions/information.

I don't have an answer for you, I'm sorry, but my wife has stage 4 and went through radiation and now they say it has went to the liver and I can't get a straight answer out of the doctors about what we can do.  We are in Rochester NY and are being treated at the Univ of Rochester Cancer Center.  I am considering taking my wife to a CTCA site and would be interested to know what your view of it is if you have went there. Thank you
