Haa anyone had any luck with the gerson therapy treatment for stage IV colon cancer?  My mom is going on chemo number 5 and the doctor said to try clinical trials.  She is thinking of exploring different options.  Any suggestions?

Hi! Sorry to hear about your mom. My fiance has been diagnosed with Stage III-C Colon Cancer last month and has already gone through surgery but he doesn't want to go through chemo so I researched of alternative treatments and I pretty confident in The Gerson Therapy. All of its premises make sense, plus, there's really nothing wrong with living a healthy life. I am a nurse and my fiance is a doctor and we both agree with its principles. He is going to try it at home -not at Gerson clinics because it's much too costly for us. But, if money is not a factor with your mom, then I suggest she give it a try. They have professional practitioners that will design a whole protocol specially individualized for your mom's condition and if she's not comfortable with the frequency of the coffee enema (this is what most people are skeptic about - because there have been deaths related to overdoing of the coffee enema), she could always talk to her practitioner about reducing the frequency of it. The key is to increase the body's immune system (which is achieved by the vegetarian diet - all organic). There is also the LED light that I believe increases the immune system as well, but it is only available in Michigan (I'm not sure if it's the right state). You can just look it up online with the keyword BioScan LED Light.

But before enrolling in the Gerson Therapy, make sure she reads all about it first (www.gerson.org) to make sure she really wants it for herself. Remember, she should be comfortable in every decision that she makes - not because some people (doctors, friends, relatives) are telling her how to make her decisions for her. I hope I have been helpful.

I'll include your family in my prayers.

Jei
