Hello, I'm 37 years old. I've been in the Radiology field for 15 years. I recently had my thryroid and right cervical lymph nodes removed due to papillary cancer. I'm not sure if this is due to occupational radiation. My bages never came back with a reading. Anyway, I had my sx 3 weeks ago. My right side of my neck is hard and pressing on my trachea. My doc said I might need a steroid injection in the neck.
Has anyone experienced this? How long before neck swelling goes down? I'm very uncomfortable. Loosing sleep. I feel sorry for my family. I can't lift anything, and I'm basically boring.
