This is the diagnosis. My mother in law had colorectal cancer 3 1/2 years ago and almost died from the chemo. She has since returned better than before but has recently been diagnosis now with lung cancer. Give it to me straight. What does this mean. Here is the diagnosis so far from the doctor.
Preoperative Diagnosis: Indeterminate right lung nodules. One upper posteriorly, one lower lobe laterally rather deep.
Postoperative Diagnosis: ADENOCARCINOMA (lung cancer) with significant dirty necrosis (dead cells).
Procedure: Bronchoscopy (negative), Right video-assisted wedge resection of right lower and upper lobe parenchymal preserving style with mediastinal lympadenectomy including removal of subcarinal nodes
