My father (I am adopted by him) was diagnosed a year ago with what they called Recurring Colon Cancer, in stage C2, was given a year to a year and a half to live. This past Thursday he had his P.E.T. scan, and it came back normal. (He recieved Chemo last April - August.) My question is...How do they know it is Recurring Colon Cancer if he has only had one bout with it thus far...????
