Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) was raised in a discussion almost two years ago. As usual for alternative treatments, some anecdotal reports recommemded it, but solid evidence was lacking. It's been around for some time now, and if it works, there should be more testimonies to its success. Is there any updated information on IPT? Has anyone undergone this treatment or know of someone who has?

I am getting reaedy to start IPT next week. A recent study was published showing its success against breast cancer already resistant to the three most common chemo agents as well as hormone therapy.Imagine if it were tried first. SEE LINK BELOW http://www.iptq.com/uruguay2003.htm I am a healthcare provider and have done exhaustive research in most medical journals and abroad since my diagnosis. It is also worth mentioning that AHCC is the only thing that studies have shown to preventing distant metastasis.(at least what I have read including this months Oncology Journal) It works with standard treatments and actually betters other treatments plus reduces side effects. Many stidies on AHCC and current research being done at Kettering, U of Minnesota etc. Also may other centers studying various other muhrooms including Hopkins. SEE http://sci.cancerresearchuk.org/labs/med_mush/med_mush.html and http://ahccresearch.com/ click on summary book
