Hi Keith my name is Sue, and I myself am on Gleevec since 2000, but I have a friend who could not tolerate the Gleevec. She went through the clinical trial for Sprycel, which she is presently taking. Her biggest problem was Pulmonary Edema, and she had to stop it temporarily. She is back on it now, and doing much better. She also has reached remission. She said she gets very tired, but she said she is tolerating a lower dose. I do not know what her original dose was that caused the Pulmonary Edema. If you go on Sprycel, I wish you the best. Contact me anytime. I have been in Remission with Gleevec since July of 2001.
