My mother has recently passed away from colon cancer that wasnt found until it was late, I lost her August 27th 2007, On fri they are giving me a lower gi colonoscopy, I have had pelvic abdominal problems in the past, recently before mom passed I lost 50 pounds in less then 2 months, My blood came back hogh white count, I was wondering what exactly does a lower gi look for? Can it find a cause of abdominal pain if its on lower gi test? Thank you.
