I am 27 years old now. When i was seventeen I went to the doctor with a lump on my right testicle. I had an ultrasound and a blood test. They diagnosed it as a hydrocele.
The lump is actually on the testicle and about half the size of a pea. The lump is still there today, with no pain unless it is hit. Now I have an even smaller lump on the left testicle and it is more painful, mainly when hit but can have a dull pain that comes and goes. I also have noticed a lump in the thing that attaches to the testicle on the right side.
I have an apointment with the doc next week.
My questiion is, Is it possible they could have diaged the first lump wrong? Its been 10 years with no change. Is it normal for a hydrocele to last that long? and is it possible to actually be on the testicle? Also is the small lump on the left one any chance of being cancerous? it is about the size of a pencil point.
thanks for any info
