im 19 and i recently quit smokeless tobacco like 2 weeks ago after a year and a half use. I used like a can a week . like a month ago  i went to the dentist and i thought i would have something but him and the assistant looked in my mouth and didnt say anything. I didnt tell them i dipped but he looked around pretty good and said my mouth looked great but i quit and now my lymph node on one side of my neck seems swollen and im in iowa at college. I am really afraid, but i do have anxiety disorder so i dont know if im tripn or if i should b scared. What are my chances being so young i have oral cancer after using for a year and half? i have no sores in my mouth just its a little bit bigger on one side of my gum from wisdom tooth extraction and every weird thing in my mouth is identical to texture or color and both sides.

I have oral cancer and currently I am awaiting surgery to remove it.  The lymph node can swell from other things as well. IE:  Infection.  The main job they have is to filter bad things from the body.  This does not mean you have cancer.  According to MY Doctor, he says most people who get it is in the 40 age group.  If it is a concern, you should go see an ENT to at least rule it out.  If it turns out to be so, EARLY detection is the key to the best eradication of the disease.
