Hi Matt,
I can relate to what you are feeling. Today my
mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, we think stage four. They also
thought it was pancreatic, but the tests confirmed today from the
pathologist it was ovarian. I guess I would prefer this over
pancreatic, the lesser of two evils. It was a long scary two weeks to
find out what it was.
It is such a scary moment, I felt my whole life collided
when I heard the word "cancer." My mom, who is healthy, never had any
surgeries and took care of herself for the most part, was hit with
this. It is hard to believe and you feel hopeless, scared and feel like
you have nowhere to turn.
But for the last two weeks
since I have been on this site and other sites as well, there is a lot
of support and caring people out there.
I am also
researching a lot on alternative stuff as well. My sister just
purchased this stuff called polymva (go to polymvasurvivors.com). We
are going to try everything and even with her doing chemo, which she
starts Monday.
What do you have to lose? Also, go to www.cancertutor.com. There is a lot of good info on that site as well.
A
friend of mine gave me a lot of great info. Her father was diagnosed
with stage four prostate and is doing the alternative stuff and eating
very healthy. He is doing very well.
It may not cure them from cancer, but it will prolong their life and make them stronger.
Look up Dr. Budwig. She has a great flax seed oil recipe. A lot of people use this when they are ill.
I
wish you the best of luck with your friend and remember to keep strong,
be positive and try everything in your power to look at all prospects
to beat this disease. God Bless and good luck.
