Rest In Peace, My Wonderful Daddy

My father passed away last night at 11:23pm. It was very peaceful, and he is now watching over me and my family. His battle was a short 7 months, but he fought right until the end. I will miss him more than I can express here.

sorry to hear about your loss.  I know what you are going through.  My mom passed away from stomach cancer about three months ago.  I still cry and miss my mom.  A piece of me died when she passed away. Just remember to cry as much as you want and talk to your dad as though he's here.  It has helped me alot. Still, it seems surreal that my mom is gone.  She was only 56 years old.  I always thought she would live to be in her 90's because she was always so health conscious and fit.

Oh no :(  So sorry to hear about your loss Kristen.  You did all you could do for him, now he is resting in peace up in heaven looking down on you.

I know this has not been an easy road.  Nothing about this cancer is fair, and for that I am truly and deeply sorry.  Try to find solace in the fact that he is not suffering anymore.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.  The fear of going through this with my Dad chokes me up, and my heart goes out to you. Be strong, but let your emotions out, and take comfort in knowing that he is not in anymore pain.  CELEBRATE HIM!!!!

my heart and prayers are with you. my dad was just diagnosed w/ stomach cancer in july. it spread to his liver, lymph system and colon. they have given him under a year to live.

he starts chemo on oct 8th. we pray that it will help...even if only a little. i know i will be on here and have to make a post of my own.....and a little piece of me will die too....take care. kris
