My brother is turning 40 next week and was diagnosed with cancer of the prostate about 2-3 years ago.He does not have medical ins.or any funds to treat it.I have noticed that he is blowing up in weight. He is up to 280.Could this be a serious side effect?

Not likely...and to each his own...but he may wish to be "indigent" and apply for a Medicaid grant of medical services, etc., from your state gov't combined with fed. In 3 yrs, alot of bad things can happen. If he is obese, and other wise, not suitable for some options, its hard to say what the future holds...best wishes

There is no reason to go untreated in this country. The hospitals can not turn you away because you are poor or have no insurance,,, just apply for medicaide. You have paid taxes all your life, don't let the medical establishment give you excuses.  If they give you a hassel, just tell them you are an illegal immigrant, then you will be given special prevliges and treated without questions.  It is well know that illegal immigrants have more rights and prevliges in this country then citizens do now.
