My husband just had his first treatment with Alitma, and he sure vomits a lot more than he did on Taxol.
It has also worn him out to a frazzel. He was working part time, but with
this new treatment, he is just too tired. Totally wiped out!
We hope it works. He is taking it with carboplatin only. He is unable
to take the usual drugs given with Alitma due to a heart attack back
in 2000.
