My mother has been diagnosed with Klatskin's Tumor that has invaded both lobes of her liver. We are in Florida but are going to the University of Michigan Cancer Center for an appt. with Dr. James Knol on Oct. 25 We have also sent her records to Dr. John Cameron @ Johns Hopkins. I have contacted Dr. Canady's office and am preparing to send him her records immediately. How long after you were diagnosed did you have surgery? Did you see more than one surgeon? This is such a horrible cancer I am scared awful for my mother. I love her so much and am trying to help her make the right decisions. I have been online to many sites so I know how awful the prognosis is. So far she has declined to read up on it but she knows it is very serious. I am concerned that her appt. in Mi. is 2 weeks away that is why I would like to communicate with you and maybe you could reassure that that timeline is okay.
