Subject: likely caused by occupational exposure

My husband works in a factory that makes brakes. Aug. 1 he was diagnosed with metastatic Renal cell carcinoma. His left kidney was removed. He went thru Radiation for his hip bone. He has about 9 tumors in his lungs. His job dealt with many carcinogens. Neither of us have risk factors other than occupational exposure.

Has anyone else delt with this in their experience with cancer? Trying to find the cause. I know it was the chemicals. There were many he was responsible for adding, cleaning, analyzing. (for Plating, friction and degreasing tanks). I feel like this is a very well covered up problem.  I know people are constantly seaching for the cures, I feel if we find the cause, many more lives will be spared.  Please help!

Hi Birdie4,

My husband also had his left kidney removed due to RCC in Jan 07, although thankfully no mets so far.  He is a machinist for the railroad and is also exposed to many chemicals.  We have been wondering the same thing, especially since he was diagnosed he found out there are 6 or 7 other men that have had the same diagnosis.  Is there anyone else out there with a railroad connection?

hooray for you - my wife has gbm IV brain cancer - she sold realestate and was on the phone lots. someone does need to be looking at work and environmental sources - research does not want cures - just treatment and coverup - very frustrating - Rife had the cure back in the early 40's and look what they did to him.
