Subject: My dad

My dad has been told his stomach tumour is an endrocrinoma. Apparently this is so unusual there is only one consultant in Ireland who deals with it and there is obviously a long waiting list. Has anyone heard of this type of tumour? he's 76 and in reasonable health otherwise (having survived a meniginoma 5 years ago)

are you sure you don't mean "adenocarcinoma"? that is what most stomach cancers are, although stomach cancer in general is fairly uncommon in western countries and most prevalent in asia
