hello my mom has been fighting gcc since 2002. she was told last week that a "new" tumor has grown on her abdominal wall. her dr. has always said this is a very slow growing cancer,but this tumor was not present on her last scan which was in march 2007. she has started another round of chemo this week. we had been told [ march] that the only thing the drs could do for her was to wait until she needed pain meds or surgery if one of the tumors she did have were to restrict her intestines. we do trust her dr. but my sisters and i would like to hear from other gcc patients or families.
