My Mum has just been diognosed with T Cell LGL Leukemia. I'm looking for others with the same for help and advice on this condition. She has also been diognosed with severe Neutropenia and is currently taking 150mg of Cyclosporin and injections 3 times a week of Neupogen. Is this the recommended medication for this? Would really apreciate some one to talk to about this.

I just saw your post to Cancer Coompass.  If you mean T-cell Large Granular Lymphocytic Leukemia, my husband has it.  His doctor told us two years ago that there are only about 300 cases of it in the U.S., so we can understand why there is not much information about it.

My husband chose not to have chemo, but has gone the alternative and natural way of helping his body cope with the cancer.  He has been alive for 2 years and for the most part has done exceptionally well...working on our place, and helping the neighbors.  He had a cold a couple of months ago and is a bit fatigued from that, but still taking his list of vitamins and minerals and herbs and takes Essiac tea regularly.

If you can find an alternative doctor to talk with about it, he/she may be able to give you some advice on how to build up your body's system and fight the disease.  May things go well with you.

Hi, the olive leaf extract really made a big change for the better for me, it fights virus and just makes you feel good. I believe it stops LGL. It takes  a little time, but I felt better within a few weeks and I have been using it now for three years and am living life again. Longbow
