I've read through many of the posts here, but haven't been able to find a treatment identical to mine. I went through the Efudex treatment on my face 7 years ago, and am doing it again right now. I was prescribed Efudex 5% for 2 weeks, followed by Fluocinonide for another 2 weeks. After reading so many other posts, I'm wondering if 2 weeks of the Efudex will be sufficient.
My GP (not Derma) prescribed it this time, and didn't request a follow-up, so I'm sort of flying alone this time. Would there be any harm in continuing into a 3rd week? This isn't any fun, but why go through all the trouble and pain if it's not quite adequate?
By the way, thanks so much everyone for the Aquaphor recommendation - it's a lifesaver.
