What To Expect

Hi, My name is Randy and I have linitis plastica, cancer of the stomach. I am in the 4 th stage so I am not a canidate for sergury. The offered me chemo but all it would provide was possibly a few more months and the passability that I would be able to eat more.

  I have been in bad pain for 3 months now and they have just gotten it under control. I don't want to take the chemo because I am too afraid I would not be able to keep my meds-pills down.

  I was told I was terminal Friday October 6 th.

  My question is: what can I expect to happen to me from here?

Hello Randy.  So sorry to hear about your sickness.  My father is going through the same thing right except they operated on him by removing 70% of his stomach.  Unfortunately when they opened him up they realized that it spread to 17 lympnodes (which they removed as well)

Right now he going through chemo.  He was diagnosed July, but has been in pain since April.  I'm not going to lie to you Randy, everyone is different.  There's no honest answer.  Some people are stronger than others and go on to live while others unfortunately do not.  Whatever you do, do not give up hope!  Be positive.
