Has anyone had alternative treatment ie: drugs that are approved in other countries and not here in usa, chinese medicine, japanese medicine?

And if so, where have you been treated and have you seen any improvement?

My husband has appendix cancer with spread to the peritoneum.

Thank you and God bless.

hi,  my husband is battling stage 4 colon cancer and just recently i have started him on alternative meds,  he is getting IV Vit C treatments 3 times a week and we feel very hopeful that this could possibly put him into remission,  i am a strong believer in alternative and natural remedies. I am taking him to the Center for human development and funtioning in wichita kansas and they have given us so much hope.  the staff there has treated him as a human being and not as a cancer patient.  Awesome clinic. I have been reading kevin trudeau's book's and actually talked with a cancer doctor in canada and he has even advised me to take him to this clinic for treatment.  so far his energy level has picked up some but we still have another 2 months to go to see if it is killing the tumors.  research everything and do not be afraid to fight hard with everything available.  i do not know if it will work but at least i know i did everything i could to fight it.  much thoughts with you and best of luck.

The clinic I go to in Ontario Canada is having amazing results treating many types of cance with Intravenous Vitamin C/lipoic acid infusions. Actually these infusions are a cocktail of natural substances designed for each one individually after tests are done to ascertain deficiencies in one's systems. I know there are some Wellness clinics in the USA offering these treatments as well. The Canadian Medical Assoc. Journal printed three cases of cures which you can read about in the following website http://www.medpagetoday.com/HematologyOncology/OtherCancers/ They added the usual caveate "spontaneous remission". How many successes do they need to observe before they admit to the efficacey of this treatment? Also being highly recommended here is Avemar. It is a natural immune booster. Here's just a bit of information on this. http://www.rejuvenation-science.com/avemar.html http://www.avemarresearch.com/TOC.html In clinical cancer trials, Avemar was shown to reduce the progression of disease in patients with head and neck cancers, colorectal cancer, and malignant melanoma of the skin. The quality of life of patients with breast cancer or lung cancer improved significantly (P < 0.05) after supportive treatment with Avemar: improvements in the global state of health and fatigue were observed in lung cancer patients, and improvements in physical and emotional function, the global state of health, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, and constipation were observed in breast cancer patients. Clinical studies of the efficacy of Avemar in the treatment of other cancers are ongoing. However, observational data indicate that this wheat germ extract has favorable effects on ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, thyroid cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. "The therapeutic spectrum of Avemar is much wider than it had been thought some years ago." 714X is available in Canada but not approved in the USA as far as I know at this time. I have a friend who used it along with the Intravenous Vitamin C and his terminal prostate cancer was cured. In December 2006 he was given three weeks to live and now over ten months later is still cancer free. I have a website with information about 714X but this board does not allow it being posted. You may send me a private message if you would like more information. My husband has appendix cancer with spread to the peritoneum.

Thank you and God bless.

My wife was diagnosed with cancer last March ( remains classified as C.U.P.-Syndrome. Most evidence, however, indicates Stage 2 cancer of the appendix which had spread to the peritoneum). She underwent surgery the last week of March in which her fallopian tubes/ovaries, appendix and sections of her peritoneum as well as several lymph nodes were removed. Almost immediately following surgery, the doctors at the local clinic disclosed to us that they would be able to do nothing for us (and this without the slightest mention of alternatives) and that my wife had between 3-6 months to live. She was released from the clinic 7 days following surgery and we were left to our own devices. Obviously, we were confronted with the task of having to make decisions very quickly, treading a terrain that was basically unknown to us. With some unexpected guidance from a choice few individuals whom we now refer to as angels and extensive internet research , we were lead to a private oncological practice in Hamburg, Germany in which the following therapies are performed:

Local electro-hyperthermal treatment (3 X weekly/ 1 hour sessions).

Immunological therapies (monthly primed Dendritic Cell vaccinations as well as oncological virus (i.e. Newcastle Disease) injections).

In my wifes ´case, the treatment is being complemented with:

Vitamin C I.V.s´

Xeloda tablets as prescribed by oncologist

Curcuma Longa tablets (min. 3500 mg daily) + 10mg Bioperine

Glutamin dietary supplement ( 2-3 teaspoons daily)

Chilel-Qigong practice ( approx. 1 1/2 hours daily)

Since beginning her therapy in mid-April, my wifes´ tumor markers have diminished quite considerably as has her ascites and her energy levels are high.

The private practice in Hamburg is closely affiliated with Dr. Thomas Nesselhuts´ tumor clinic in Duderstadt, Germany. I recommend having a look at the following website:

The best of luck and good wishes to your husband and yourself.
