I was diagnosed with stage 3C fallopian tube cancer in sept 2004. I've had a complete hystorectomy, and 6 treatments of taxol and carboplatin. My doctor feel that this cancer I genetic, due to the fact, that my father had male breat cancer, and his sister also died of breast cancer @ the age of 38. My paternal grandmother died of ovarian cancer @ 47 year of age. I am presently awating the results of my genetic blood test. I would like to correspond with any one who was recently diagnosed with primary site fallopian cancer.

Evalyn,

I too was diagnosed with FTC in September of 2004. I had a complete hysterectomy, debulking and 8 rounds of chemo.

I just had a CT scan and PT scan done and I am clean. I am no struggling with the decision of whether or not to get involved with the Ovarex clinical trial. Do you know anything about that and how are you doing now?

I was recently diagnosed with FTC stage 3c after 5 years of carrying around a 10cm mass. All the docs thought it was endometriosis. Because they waited so long to biopsy, i now have metastis. Did your mother take DES? Mine did and I'm trying to find the cause. I can't take chemo or radiation due to a rare bone marrow disorder. So I forced to find something natural or some kind of targeted therapy. Any suggestions? What treatment is working for you and who is your doctor? Thanks a bunch

How is your sister doing now?  My mom was diagnosed with stage 3c Fallopian tube cancer in August of 2005.  My mom is 73 years old and today was just told her CA 125 test is now at 80 so the cancer might be back.
