Tarceva

Hi,

In two weeks, probably, I'll be starting a clinical trial involving
Tarceva, in conjunction with Avastin.

Since my cancer is asymptomatic, I won't feel any difference
if the cancer cells are or aren't affected by the treatment, but
I hope that the biomarkers (PSA, and maybe CgA) will indicate
a diminution in cancer quantity, growth, and/or aggressiveness.

If my upcoming experiences would be helpful to you, let me
know and I'll keep you informed of how things go with me.

my mom took it for 4 1/2 months.  Great results and worked the first 2.  Acne and diarrhea.  She was always tired with no energy.  Could not feel it was working but the scan verified that.  Then for her the cancer mutated to change itself so that the tarceva could not affect it and it stopped working for my mom.  This does not true for everyone.  This is a great med that works really good for so many.  Her biggest complaint was the on stoppable diarrhea.  May God bless you!
