Frequency Of Stomach Cancer Reoccurance

Subject: Frequency of stomach cancer reoccurance

My 73 year old mother was diagnosed with stage 1 stomach cancer last November, had surgery in December, removed part of her stomach and she has not returned to her doctor for follow-up visits. What are the chances that her cancer will return? How often should she see her doctor for testing?
