My Husband Has Cancer

My husband was told 3 weeks ago he has pharyngeal cancer and we have no medicial Ins. I have been trying to get help but social secuerity is giving me a run around and the medications they giving my husband are very expensive and I can't get help with them any one know some where I can call. I just get to where I can't deal with it and want to give up. So please some help.

Try the cancercenter.com. They have a helpline via phone, internet, etc... I am looking for answers myself. I getting my list of questions together. My husbands father has throat cancer. Good luck with your search and best wishes.

we have no insurance.... how long after they diagnosed did you begin treatment.. my husband has been diagnosed with highly invasive nasal pharyngeal cancer... localized so far to his adenoids,sinuses, and lymph node in the left side of his neck.. he was treated for four months for ear aches prior to the doctor even suggesting we go to a specialist.. by that time it was malignant.. it's been almost five weeks now and because we don't have insurance no one seems to be too anxious to get us into treatment... we came up with the initial six thousand dollars to have the biopsy done and now have been placed on hold before radiation adn chemo can begin because we don't have the cash to payup front and the charity hospital says we make too much money... and plus they can't get us in for three weeks... it worries me that we've been told this is fast growing and can move to other parts of the body... but without the money or the insurance

i'm not sure where you live.  but call the american cancer society, go to the social services office they can not denie treatment to your husband. it took months after he was dianose before the started treatment.  you feel like there not moving fast enough. and if you believe that to be true. call the head of the hosptial. your fighting for your husband life and your furture togheter. sometimes you have to be tigress.  i know that my husband was stuck in a emergency room where a lady was hacking her headoff. so i told them take him back now and i sat in the hall. which they didn't like but i refuseed to risk him getting any germs. that could affect his health anymorethen what radation and chemo does. that they must have. so they got me a mask for him and with in minutes they took him back.  i've also had to call the head of the hosptial for a few things that was not in my husband health best issues.   god  healing blessings to you and your husband may the lord touch him a heal him.  and you need to pray pray pray.  be strong. god blessings maria
