I have posted a few messages on here in the last few months and today I am sad to say that my father lost his battle with PC last Sunday morning. My dad was diagnosed 6 weeks ago approx. and for awhile was not well, but then about 2 weeks ago; he came right out of it and was back to his old self again. By that, I mean not confused and feeling pretty good but then last Wednesday, his fever spiked and he got real sick real fast and he passed away 5 days later, this past Sunday. I was by his side when he went and so glad that I was. It was very peaceful in the end. My dad fought this battle with all that he had and may he rest in peace.

I am looking to order some purple ribbons etc.. and I know I can get many items through PanCan; however because it is in the U.S and I am in Canada, I will have to pay a large shipping fee. Anyone know of any place in Canada where I can order this stuff?

Hi there. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Craig's Cause has several purple items.  Many of the items are not shown but will be up in a couple of days.  There are water bottles, car magnets, silver braclets, T-shirts, Hats etc.  Take a look. www.craigscause.ca and click on merchanise.

Where are you located in Canada?? Once again, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I personally know how painful it is to lose a parent, as I lost my father just over 1 year ago and still find it very difficult to deal with it.

My husband passed on 10-10-07, diagnosed on 8-03-07.  My heart goes out to you. I think spending the last days, weeks really helps the healing process.

Be blessed

Hi Sallyx

So sorry to hear about your Dad, I had everything crossed that his "pepped up" time would last a lot longer. I lost my Dad yesterday to this horrible disease, but he also has a peaceful end with his family close.

You are in my thoughts. Take care of yourself

Sue
