Been reading posts for several weeks, but have never posted. I had a right kidney removed 7 years ago and was given a clean bill until a month or so ago. small tumor in my adrenal gland and small 1.6 cm in lung and several pinpoint tumors in my lungs. I started sutent 25 days ago and go for my C_T scan tommorrow to see how it is working.

I am scared to find out if it is working but am remaining hopeful and am thinking positive.Side effects from Sutent were heartburn, low back pain and horrible (diaper) rash on insides of thighs, etc. as well as under my armpits and bra line. With Desitin it is liveable.

I continue to work full time and plan on working, God willing, until I can retire. I feel pretty good---tired but that comes and goes, too.

Enjoy everyone's messages and encouragement. I will feel so much better tommorow after I find out if this is working. Oh, I am on 50 mg. of Sutent and look forward to the 14 days off.

I am hopeful with all the new releases on RCC and research still being done that I can live another 10-15 years. Who knows, maybe that will be possible.
